New on the scene, G’s Men’s wear opened its doors April 2010.

 It was a venture which was not planned, but according to owner Godfrey Chalklen,” it just happened”. Godfrey always had a love for underwear, so it made sense to open a Men’s underwear store. Realising that underwear was just not enough, swimwear and active wear has become part of what is available in store.

 As the stock constantly changes, one would not find a large quantity of the same styles or brands. This applies mainly to swim wear and active wear, G’s Men’s wear believes nothing is worse than going to the club or beach and every second person is wearing the same as you.

When entering the store, you will find it is very different to most retail outlets. It is a chic and cosy, yet masculine. G’s boasts a large selection of both imported and locally made designer men’s wear. Local designs include labels like NIKU and Baie nice who manufactures underwear and T shirts. NIKU is busy adding swimwear and active wear to its collection.  From Durban, they have Corrupt underwear, from Spain the E.S. Collection and from America you have Andrew Christian’s, both manufactures of underwear, swim wear and active wear. E.S being the most popular swim wear brand. G’s now also offers a new brand from Greece called Modus Vivendi. And let’s not forget Calvin Klein and 2(x)ist
